The results of the 10th “National 100 Excellent Management Cases” have been announced recently. The case written by Dr. Yaping Liu was selected as one of the 18 cases of “100 Excellent Management Cases” (Western Special Project). This is the third time Dr. Liu’s case has been selected.

The selection of “National 100 Excellent Management Cases” was initiated by National MBA Education Supervisory Committee of China in 2010. It is the highest award of China management case and has been included by the Ministry of Education in 2012 as one of the evaluation criteria when evaluate the disciplines of universities and colleges in Mainland China.

LUSM has always attached great importance to case teaching in MBA education, and has established case study center. In order to encourage faculty to guide cases and improve their case writing quality and level, the school has formulated the implementation rules of MBA case guidance performance allowance. Meanwhile, the school has added “practical case” in compulsory courses. The students are required to write cases according to their study and work practice in the fourth semester. Besides, the school has organized students to participate in China Management Case Competition many times. In 2018, LUSM group has won the national third prize of the completion.
