The Delegation from Aston University visited LUSM

On November 6th, Saskia Hansen, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Engagement), and Junying Jia, International Programmes Development Manager from Aston University visited School of Management and held talks with LUSM. Wensheng He, Dean of LUSM, Lei Wang, Director of ACCA program and staff from ACCA education office, international cooperation office and IMBA education office attended the meeting.

Dean He welcomed the guests on behalf of the school. He gave a brief introduction of the progress made by the university and the school this year, reviewed the communications and cooperation between the two sides and highly acknowledged Aston University as an important partner of LUSM in Europe and hopes that through joint efforts, the two sides can drive the cooperative double degree program and summer program to a new level, at the meanwhile explore cooperation in the fields of joint program, faculty exchange and Aston’s providing faculty to teach IMBA courses at LUSM, etc. Deputy Vice-Chancellor Hansen briefly introduced the development of Aston University. She appreciated the efforts made by LUSM to promote the cooperation between two sides and said that Aston will keep supporting the partnership and look forward for further and deeper relationship with LUSM.

Then the two sides exchanged views on how to better promote and implement the cooperative “2+2” and “3+1” undergraduate double degree program.

Aston University’s visit has played an important role in deepening mutual understanding, enhancing mutual trust, promoting cooperative relations and expanding cooperation areas between two sides.
