LUSM Prof. Zhe George Zhang’s Paper Published in Production and Operations Management

Recently, LUSM Prof. Zhe George Zhang’s team has published a paper titled “Designing a sustainable two-tier service system with customer's asymmetric preference for servers” in Production and Operations Management, one of the top 24 leading business journals, Database from UT Dallas Naveen Jindal School of Management Dallas. Prof. Zhang is the first author and LUSM is the school of affiliation. This is the second time that Prof. Zhang has published a paper in UTD 24 as the first author and LUSM as his affiliation. It is also a continuous breakthrough made by LUSM since March this year when LUSM Prof. Wang Kangzhou’s paper was accepted by one of the 24 journals. The publications mark that the school’s scientific research strength in related fields has reached the international frontier level.

Prof. Zhe George Zhang is LUSM’s Cuiying Professor, a professor of Management Science in the Department of Decision Sciences at Western Washington University and a professor of Operations Management in Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University. He is also a long-term visiting professor of Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia. He held short-term visiting positions at several universities including Stanford University and Columbia University. Professor Zhang is the Editor-in-Chiefs for Journal of the Operational Research Society and is on the editorial board of several international journals in Operations Research and Management Science. He has published more than 110 papers in prestigious journals such as Management Science, Operations Research.
