Delegate of LUSM Attended the 11th Chinese AMBA and BGA Business School Capacity Building Workshop

On June 26th, organized by Zhejiang University's Global Entrepreneurship Research Center (GERC) and the Silk-Road Entrepreneurship Education Network (SREEN), the 11th Chinese AMBA&BGA Business School Capacity Building Workshop was held in Hangzhou. Prof. WANG Zhongming, international advisor for China of AMBA&BGA, and the director of GERC, presided over the workshop and delivered a speech. Ms. WU Rui, the international accreditation coordinator of LUSM was invited to attend.

At the workshop, focused on “high-quality strategy of internationalization and capacity building”, prof. WANG delivered detailed introductions on the progress, procedural affairs, experiences and shortcuts of AMBA&BGA accreditation, new business education in the new era, the construction of Continuous Impact Model (CIM), and its key indicators, BGA chapter and standards, and the development of exemplary major and demonstration courses. Prof. WANG emphasizes that under the guidance of the BGA chapter, the accreditation should give priority to top-level design, program participation, and efficiency upgrading, so as to achieve the development of the sustainable business education. In particular, prof. WANG also proposed the prospects in the fields of capacity building, impact, SREEN, and course collaboration for 2021.

In addition, at the invitation of prof. WANG Zhongming, prof. QIAN Shuitu, dean of MBA School, Zhejiang Gongshang University, and prof. FEI Xianzheng, associate dean of the School of Business Administration, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, shared with the guests their innovative practices and accreditation experiences in the process of promoting the strategy of internationalization.

Through keynote speech delivering, peer discussion and sharing, the workshop has established a platform of internationalization strategy designing, CIM construction, value creation and experience sharing for schools of business and management, which can promote LUSM’s accreditation progress and high-quality business education.
