HHL Associate Dean Frank Hoffmann Visited School of Management

On October 15, Mr. Frank Hoffmann, the Associate Dean of Leipzig Graduate School of Management (HHL), paid his visit to School of Management, Lanzhou University, aiming to get a general idea of the development of the past cooperation between the two sides, and to expand the bilateral partnership in faculty and students exchange.

Basic information of the two Schools is introduced in this friendly meeting.

Mr. Xin He, Assistant Dean and Standing Vice Director of MBA/MPA center, began the meeting with introducing School of Management, followed by Mr. Hoffmann’s presentation about HHL’s program value, Ms program, MBA program, Doctoral Program and Executive Education. Students’ resource, teaching plan and proposal on inviting HHL teachers into the LUSM IMBA program are briefed in Miss Shuying Zong’s address, also from MBA/MPA center. Mr. Hoffmann also discussed elaborately with officials from MBA/MPA center and suggested constructively on IMBA credits system, teaching plan and regulations on exam. At last, Miss Haojie Wang from International Cooperation Office demonstrated the English website and gained constructive suggestions from Mr. Hoffmann.

The meeting not only reviewed the past bilateral cooperation, but also gives a vision for future partnership, which lays a solid foundation for sustainable development of the bilateral partnership.
 
 In the afternoon, Mr. Hoffmann was invited to meet IMBA students for a face-to-face discussion, and he answered students’ questions about studying at HHL with much patience.

 HHL is one of the leading business schools in Europe, whose MBA program ranked top 30 worldwide and top 10 in Europe, being an important strategic partner of School of Management, with a partnership agreement with Lanzhou University signed in April, 2005.
