EMBA Students from Taiwan Normal University Visited LUSM

On September 17th and 18th, led by Dean Chou, De-Wai, the Executive MBA (EMBA) students from College of Management, Taiwan Normal University visited School of Management, Lanzhou University. The LUSM has arranged activities such as seminars, company visit and interacting with local students, which has provided invaluable opportunities to help managers from across the Strait to acquire new knowledge and perspectives on the other side.

Professor Xiaoding Chen from School of Politics and International Relations and Professor Yiqing Wang from School of History and Culture gave seminars on the "Belt and Road" Initiative and opportunities facing by western China under the strategy, and the history of the Silk Road and Dunhuang respectively to the group.

On the afternoon of September 17th, students from Taiwan have interacted with EMBA and MBA students from LUSM. They introduced their industries and its development and shared the information and experience concerned by the other. Chengfu Yao, the Party Secretary of LUSM and Yanhai Zhao, the Vice Director of MBA Education Center of LUSM has attended the activity. 

On September 18th, the group visited Lanzhou Cultural and Creative Industries Park and learned opportunities and challenges faced by the local industry and made a comparison of the development of cultural and creative industries in Mainland China and Taiwan.

The study tour of EMBA students from College of Management, Taiwan Normal University to School of Management, Lanzhou University has enhanced the understanding and interaction of two sides and has paved the way for further cooperation.
