Babson College Visits LUSM

On September 28th, John Chen, Managing Director, Asia Pacific of Babson Executive & Enterprise Education and his assistant visited LUSM and met with Wei Han, Vice Director of Faculty & Teaching Developing Center, LZU, and Associate Dean Xuejun Wang, Associate Dean Jianzu Wu, staff of international cooperation office, LUSM. 

Xuejun Wang welcomed the visitors, introduced LUSM briefly and hopes to build relationship with Babson and explore cooperation in entrepreneurship and innovation program in response to the state’s call of mass entrepreneurship and innovation. Wei Han gave an introduction of Faculty & Teaching Developing Center, including its history, function and its plan and needs in faculty development. Jianzu Wu discussed courses and model of Babson’s entrepreneurship and innovation programwith the guests. John Chen answered the questions raised by LUSM and introduced Babson with emphasis on its strength in faculty training, including course structure and model, and shared related materials with LUSM.

Babson’s visit creates opportunities for teachers in Lanzhou University to experience how entrepreneurship is taught in the world No. 1 college for entrepreneurship education. It also has important meaning for carrying out innovation & entrepreneurship education program and faculty training program in LUSM and LZU.
