Dean of LeBow College of Business, Drexel University visited LUSM

On April 9, Paul Jensen, the Dean of LeBow College of Business at Drexel University paid a visit to LUSM. Dean Wensheng He, Associate Dean Xuejun Wang, MBA Program Director Ruoyong Zhang, together with staff from International Cooperation Office met and talked with the guest. 

On behalf of LUSM, Wensheng He welcomed Dean Jensen's visit. He hoped that on the basis of existing university-level cooperation, the two schools could fully explore the possibility of cooperation in the fields of faculty visits, scientific research and student exchanges. Xuejun Wang and Jensen introduced each school’s basic situation and featured programs respectively. Subsequently, the participants focused on the details of cooperation in short-term teaching, MBA online courses, EMBA study tour, and "3+2" student exchange programs. They reached the agreement to start with 1-2 programs that could be carried out as soon as possible, then to promote and expand cooperation in other fields gradually.

The joint undergraduate program of Computer Science and Technology organized by Lanzhou University in cooperation with Drexel University was approved by the Ministry of Education in July 2017. As the first Chinese-foreign cooperative school-running program of Lanzhou University, the program began to recruit students in 2018 and currently has 116 students.
