China Telecom Wanwei visited China Research Center for Government Performance Management

On the morning of June 11, delegates of China Telecom Wanwei Information Technology Co., Ltd including Zhang Baoyu, deputy general manager, Liu Bo, digital government manager, Xu Weishan, manager of digital government operation department, and Zhang Yizhong, operation manager, visited China Research Center for Government Performance Management (hereinafter referred to as "Center"). Professor Bao Guoxian, honorary dean of LUSM and director of the Center, professor Wang Xuejun, associate dean, Dr. Ma xiang, senior research fellow and PhD student Guan Bin attended the communication. The meeting was chaired by Professor Bao.

Mr. Zhang spoke highly of the center’s role as the basic theory research and professional talent training center in the field of government performance management, and pointed out that his company who is in the leading position in China in terms of research and development system of data product and technical ability in information industry, can provide data and technical support for the center and the center can in return help his company develop digit government products with its theory and research.

Professor Bao said that the cooperation with Wanwei will help the Center improve its academic research level and social service capacity. The two sides should take the construction of the laboratory platform as an opportunity to explore the establishment of a legal, compliant, flexible and reliable cooperation model and mechanism for mutual benefit. Professor Wang proposed that through the cooperation mode of "performance + data", the two sides could create a series of derivative products based on the platform of "China County Government Performance Index" to assist the scientific research, discipline construction and talent cultivation of the Center.

Through the meeting, the two sides have reached consensus on the joint application for the establishment of "Digital Government Laboratory", and discussed the naming, operation mechanism, topic selection, operation mode and other specific issues of the laboratory.
