Recently, LUSM conducted visits to enterprises and peer institutions to carry out exchanges and discussions on the integration of industry and education, internship base, and school-enterprise cooperation.

On the afternoon of October 25, accompanied by Wei Yajun, HR director of Gansu Shengda Group, Yan Qi, HR director of Huangtaijiuye, and Lv Guipan, financial director Huangtaijiuye, the delegation led by Li Yanxia, deputy Secretary of LUSM CPC Committee, Hou Mawenjing, secretary of EDP program, and Yao Xuehui, secretary of alumni affairs visited Gansu Huangtaijiuye Co., Ltd. During the meeting, Li Yanxia introduced LUSM’s situation from the view of program development, undergraduate and postgraduate talent cultivation, models of school-enterprise cooperation, and featured EDP programs, focusing on the needs of student internship and graduate employment. Wei Yajun welcomed the delegation with the introduction to Gansu Shengda Group on its development history, industrial fields, employees’ growth system, and employment situation of campus recruitment of graduates for year 2024, with the supplementary explanations made by Yan Qi and Lv Guipan on the company’s development, product types, and the talent recruitment plan. The two sides made in-depth exchanges and reached a preliminary cooperation intention on the mode of school-enterprise cooperation and talent recruitment.

On the afternoon of November 16, LUSM carried out visit to and established internship base with Rural Revitalization Company of Gansu Province Urban and Rural Development Investment group Co.,Ltd. Accompanied by Liu Xiajiang, deputy Secretary of the company’s CPC Committee and the general manager of the company, Li Yiming, deputy general manager of Gansu Qiyun Field Development and Construction Co., Ltd, Zheng Feifei, director of service guarantee center, Li Mingshan and Liang Yan, director of operation management center of the company, Liu Yajun, Secretary of LUSM CPC Committee, Li Yanxia, deputy Secretary of LUSM CPC Committee, Lei Liang, director of the department of marketing management, Lei Jieni, student counselor, and Hou Mawenjing, secretary of EDP program attended the activity. On the afternoon of November 22, LUSM and LUSE signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement, and established a base for cultivating talents of internationalization with New Oriental International Division Lanzhou Center and New Oriental Vision Overseas Consulting Co. Ltd. Lanzhou Branch. Liu Yajun, Secretary of LUSM CPC Committee, He Wensheng, dean of LUSM and LUSE, Li Yanxia, deputy Secretary of LUSM CPC Committee, and staff and student representatives from LUSM and LUSE, together with Wang Yaoyao, general manager of New Oriental International Division Lanzhou Center and New Oriental Vision Overseas Consulting Co.
