Recently, LUSM conducted visits to enterprises and peer institutions to carry out exchanges and discussions on undergraduate education and teaching, integration of industry and education, and school-enterprise cooperation.

On December 14, LUSM went to Wuhan University (WHU) for research, aiming to learn the digital teaching ability and advanced experience of undergraduate education in brother institutions and to promote LUSM’s undergraduate education and teaching audit and evaluation. The delegation led by LUSM’s Prof. Niu Chunhua visited School of Political Science & Public Administration and School of Information Management. During the research period, LUSM’s representatives carried out exchanges and discussions with the associate deans and representatives of the two schools of WHU on the experience of undergraduate education audit and evaluation, talent cultivation plan, teaching grassroots organization, digital construction and teaching methods.

On December 17, LUSM conducted a research trip to the School of Government at Nanjing University (SOG). The two parties engaged in discussions regarding initiatives on undergraduate education and teaching audit and evaluation, establishment of curriculum system, digital transformation of courses, with a particular focus on the distinctive practices in undergraduate education and teaching at SOG. Sun Fei, LUSM’s Head of Department of Public Administration, Dai Wei, LUSM’s deputy Head of Department of Public Administration, and the faculty Mao Xuewen, together with Li Lifeng, SOG’s Associate Dean, Zhang Qianyou, SOG’s deputy Head of Department of Public Administration, Prof. Yu Junbo and associate Prof. Yang Lijing attended the meeting. The purpose of this research trip is to facilitate the implementation of LUSM’s 2023 Talent Cultivation Plan, which specifically focuses on “Digital Transformation”.

From December 20 to 21, LUSM conducted a visit to Xiamen University (XMU) and various enterprises in order to conduct research on undergraduate education. During the visit to the School of Management at Xiamen University (XMUSM), both sides engaged in discussions regarding undergraduate education and teaching audit and evaluation, curriculum system development, digital course transformation, as well as undergraduate mentorship and practical teaching. Zhang Ruoyong, LUSM’s Professor, Wang Lei, Head of Department of Accounting and Financial Management, Lei Liang, Head of Department of Marketing Management, Zheng Gang, Head of Department of Organization Management, and Xu Jing, Educational Secretary, together with Bai Yuntao, XMUSM’s Associate Dean, Yang Guangyong, deputy Head of Department of Management Science, Chen Rui, deputy Head of Department of Marketing, and XMUSM’s faculty attended the seminar.

In addition, the delegation also visited ANTA Sports Products Co.,LTD, the headquarter of FILA Corporation and China Insurance Education Group Network Software Company. LUSM’s representatives carried out discussions and exchanges with Dun Wei, President of Retail of FILA, and other FILA’s representatives, around the digital transformation of enterprises and the demand for management professionals and cooperation between schools and enterprises; and reached a consensus on strengthening the integration of industry and education with Lin Yuexiang, General Manager of China Insurance Education Group Network Software Company and other company leaders.
