Prof. Kim Hua Tan from Nottingham University Business School Visited LUSM

On the morning of December 26th, Prof. Kim Hua Tan of Nottingham University Business School visited LUSM. Zhao Yanhai, associate dean, Prof. Wang Kangzhou, faculty representative Sun Junqin, Lei Wenjing, and related staff participated in the meeting. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on faculty cooperation and exchange, and on collaborative research in the field of operations management.

During the meeting, Zhao Yanhai, on behalf of LUSM, welcomed Prof. Kim Hua Tan for his visit. Zhao introduced briefly the basic situation of the School and expressed the hope to establish contacts and promote the cooperation between the two sides in related disciplines through this visit and exchange. Then, Prof. Wang Kangzhou shared the current status and results of the School's research in the field of operations management; Sun Junqin and Lei Wenjing introduced their research results and research topics in progress respectively. Prof. Kim Hua Tan appreciated the development of LUSM and the level of academic research in the field of operation management, and highlighted the experience of the University of Nottingham University Business School in program development, curriculum setting, and program operation, and expressed his willingness to carry out multi-level cooperation with LUSM.

Prof. Kim Hua Tan was formerly the Associate Dean of Nottingham University Business School and has rich experience in external evaluation and practice. This visit provides academic resources and cooperation opportunities for LUSM, and also injects new impetus to promote exchanges and cooperation between the two sides in the field of operations management. LUSM will continue to provide resource support for its faculty in scientific research and course construction, and actively promote cooperation with Nottingham University Business School.
