The 3rd Seminar on Management in China organized by School of Management Lanzhou University was open grandly in conference center of Lanzhou Radisson Hotel on August 14th. This seminar was jointly hosted by Management Department of Science and Technology Committee (MOE), Research Center for Chinese Management Issues of Xi’an Jiaotong University, School of Management Xi’an Jiaotong University, School of Management Huazhong University of Science and Technology and School of Management Lanzhou University. And the editorial department of Journal of Management Science, Journal of Management, and Management Scientists were the co-sponsors. Nearly 200 experts from domestic colleges and research institutes attended this seminar.
President Zhou Xuhong of Lanzhou University attended and addressed the opening ceremony. Prof. Xi Youmin， Li Yijun and Bao Guoxian delivered a speech respectively. Professor Tian Zhonghe hosted the ceremony.
The following agenda consisted of congress reports and reports of branch meetings. Academician Liu Renhuai, Liu Yuanzhang, Wang Longde and Professor Xi Youmin, Bao Guoxian etc made the report on the congress respectively. The four sessions included:
