LUSM Held an Online Meeting for Students’ Overseas (Border) Exchange Programs

On the evening of September 21st, the International Cooperation Office of the School held a meeting on students’ exchange programs abroad in the academic year of 2023-2024. The aim was to provide comprehensive and in-depth insights into various exchange programs abroad and relevant support policies for School students. It was accessible to students at all levels of training and delivered by Yan Xuefei from International Cooperation Office.

At the meeting, Yan Xuefei introduced in detail the specifics of various types of LZU and LUSM’s overseas (border) exchange programs, from three dimensions, four categories of the program composition, application requirements, reporting process, funding policies, etc., and at the same time, showed the experience of students who participated in various types of exchange programs in the past two years in the School, encouraging students to actively participate in the exchange program, and to ensure that their learning is rewarding through early planning, full assessment, and reasonable arrangement of learning content outside the country. The third-party cooperation organization of LZU, the US International Education Association (USIEA), was also invited to participate in the meeting, and introduced the exchange program of famous overseas schools in the 24th academic year in detail for students of the School. After the meeting, the participating teachers answered and exchanged questions about credit exchange, application requirements, financial aid policies and other specific issues that the students were concerned about.

As the first meeting held in this academic year, the International Cooperation Office will gradually carry out more targeted exchange activities for students at different levels of training, helping to promote the next step in the internationalization of the School’s students.
