Recently, the Head of PRME Secretariat, Jonas Haertle, send an Email to inform LUSM for successfully signing on to the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) of UN Global Compact.

PRME is a United Nations-supported initiative founded in 2007 as a platform to realize the sustainable development goals through responsible management education. LUSM launched to signing of the Principles in October of 2017 and submitted the application in December. After joining the Principles, LUSM will follow the requirements and submit the Sharing Information on Progress report every 2 years. By signing PRME, on one hand, LUSM could facilitate its featured management education with leadership and social responsibility, keep its education on the excellent level, and share the achievements and experiences in responsible management education for its sustainability in the world; on the other hand, it could bridge LUSM and the international society, and be the strong support to the AACSB accreditation.

To date, there are more than 600 management-related higher education institutions worldwide signing PRME, and 11 higher education institutions, including LUSM, has joined PRME in mainland China.
