Two Awards on the 7th Tencent Business School Development Forum
On November 12th, the 7th Tencent Business School Development Form 2019 was held in Beijing. Dean He Wengsheng attended the forum on behalf of the School. On the forum, LUSM MBA program was awarded the “Prestigious MBA Program 2019” and Dean He was awarded the “Leading Figure of Chinese Business Education 2019”
The 2019 forum has gathered deans and directors from well-known business schools in China, heads from professional institutions and senior figures in financial media to discuss the development of Education and how to retrieve the beginner’s mind of business education. Dean He explained the beginner’s mind of LUSM to the participants, which is to teach business in west China through high-level management and construction, and for economic and social development. He said that the reform and opening- up has given all development possibilities for Chinese business schools, which is the biggest chance, but the biggest challenge is how to stay focused on the beginner’s mind.
After the forum, in an inclusive interview with Tencent, Dean He said that the fundamental value of a business school is to pass the knowledge-based business wisdom inherited to future business leaders in the way the forum did. Our country has brought new requirement for development at the 70th anniversary of the founding of China. What we are seeking is not only development but high quality and sustainable development. Business education holds the lifeblood of the training of senior management personnel, which requires us to keep pace with the changes of the time, be prepared and alert, change strategy but not the beginner’s mind.
The business school development form, as an important annual event for business education has witnessed the flourish, innovation and reform of it, and its ups and downs. It has always aims at promoting the benign development of the field with an attitude of respecting the facts and a vision for the future. It has been accepted by the business schools and public as a highly influential media activity brand.
