On the afternoon of November 27, the LUSM alumni meeting was held in Rm.202 of Run Run Shaw Science Building, with the participation of LUSM school leaders and alumni representatives, including Dean He Wensheng, Associate Dean He Xin, Associate Dean Miao Xuliang, Deputy Party Secretary Li Yanxia, Secretary of Youth League Committee Lu Jing; and Nan Zhenqi (EMBA class of 2009) (translator's note: the year mentioned here refers to the enrolled year, as the tradition for Chinese universities recording alumni, the same below), Li Guoliang (MBA class of 2002), Wang Rui (MBA class of 2010), Zhang Yangsheng (MBA class of 2011), Shang Siru (MPA class of 2014), Jia Li (EMBA class of 2015), Mo Wenjie (class of 2003, HRM major), Tan Wenyuan (class of 2011, Marketing major), and Zhao Qiang (class of 2011, Marketing major).

At the meeting, Associate Dean He Xin gave a detailed introduction to the alumni work of the school, from aspects of alumni organizations, giving and donation, alumni service, and career development.

All alumni have shared their ideas and suggestions on further development of the school, focusing on the topics covering career development service, knowledge-sharing platform among alumni, brand-building activities, transformation of alumni organization model, and so on, all enlightening the future work on the enhancement of alumni and their organizations. They also expressed their willingness to take part in various activities organized by the school, and will call on more alumni to support the development of the school of the university.

Dean He Wensheng summed up the meeting and expressed the gratitude towards all alumni, for their efforts and support to the development of their alma mater. He hopes that LUSM could grow together with her alumni, and looks forward her to be the warm home and lifelong learning platform for them.
