LUSM Won 8 Awards on the 13th China MBA Leader Annual Conference
On December 7-8, the 13th China MBA Leader Annual Conference was held in Tianjing University. LUSM delegation including Zhang Ruoyong, director of MBA program, Ma Mingjun, the 10th president of LZU MBA Association, Zhang Yongkang, the 11th president, Hu Gang the 11th president of LZU MBA Association, Guangdong Branch, and Zhu Fangfang the 12th vice president of Guangdong Branch attended the event and reaped 8 awards on the forum: the school was awarded Top 10 Featured Business Schools, Dean He Wensheng, Outstanding Leader of Chinese MBA Schools, Professor Zhang Ruoyong, Excellent Advisor and Favorite Professor, Ma Mingjun, Hu Gang, Zhang Yongkang, Outstanding Student Leaders and Zhu Fangfang, 100 Young Chinese MBA Elite.
Themed “New Business, New Leader, New Journey”, the conference has attracted above 1000 faculty and students from more than 200 colleges and universities as well as practitioners to discuss the development of new business in China, innovation & entrepreneurship and the directions of Chinese business education, and share the development fruits of MBA education.
On the opening ceremony, Li Jiajun, the party secretary of Tianjing University welcomed all the participants on behalf of his university and said that business educators should keep up with the situation under the background of new business and explore the new blueprint of business education with firm belief. Wang Ping, director of secretariat of National MBA Education Steering Committee was invited to give a speech. She said that after almost 30 years development, the MBA enrollment in China has reached 40, 000 each year and at the end of 2018, more than 600,000 people have obtained MBA degree and are scattered over the world. The steering committee highly support exchanges between Chinese MBA associations and encourage them to cooperate with universities to promote economic development.
During the forum, focused on the theme, several guests shared theire thoughts including Wang Yonggui, vice president of Capital University of Economics and Business, Feng Gengzhong, dean of School of Management, Xi’an Jiaotong Unviersity, Luan Runfeng, president of Jinher Network. Faculty and students of LUSM has participated in the session of MBA Education in Business School, Chairman’s Summit of MBA Associations, Innovation and Entrepreneurship of Chinese MBA.
The forum has provoked Chinese business educators to think deeper with a new attitude on how to contribute to boosting economic prosperity, serving national strategy and promoting social progress.
