Till now, LUSM has 3 national first-class undergraduate programs and 2 provincial first-class programs (human resource management, marketing). The selection of the national first-class undergraduate programs not only fully affirms the achievements of the school over the years, but also puts forward higher requirements for its program construction and talent training. LUSM will seize the opportunity, continue to improve and further consolidate the professional competitiveness; create advantages and characteristics, improve program system and strengthen the effectiveness of education; promote high-quality development of programs with AACSB and other accreditations, and ensure the successful assessment after three-year construction period. In 2021, the school will strive to achieve full coverage of national first-class undergraduate programs.

From April 2019, MOE has launched the “Double Ten-Thousand Plan”, aiming to support 10,000 national-level undergraduate programs and 10,000 provincial-level undergraduate programs in three years from 2019 to 2021. In 2020, the MOE listed 3977 national-level programs after the review and vote by the Steering Committee of Higher Learning Institutions of MOE, from all the programs submitted by the universities and recommended by their administrative authorities.
