On the afternoon of September 18, the LZU internal selection for the 2nd New Business Competition of higher institutions in Gansu Province, organized by LUSM, was held in Rm. B109 and B110 of Qinling Hall in Yuzhong Campus.

There are two categories of graduate students and undergraduate students in the current round, each team with 3 members, both online and onsite channels available. The theme of the competition is “Digital Ability in New Business”, and the test is set for answering questions through a specific online system by team members who are assumed tasks of digital operation post, supply chain management post and management accounting post respectively. The duration of the competition is 90 minutes, with a full score of 100 points for each post and the total score of 300 points for the team. The combined results of all members in a team is used as the final score of the participating team.

In order to ensure the smooth progress of the competition, technical support and on-site guidance has been provided by the technicians of Guangzhou Foster Technology Co., Ltd. during the competition.

Before the competition, Guangzhou Foster Technology Co., Ltd. together with LUSM held a publicity and training activity to explain the competition system, schedule arrangement, system use and debugging, etc., with the purpose to ensure that all teams are familiar with the operating system in advance by using the test account.

A total of 84 teams from the LUSM and School of Economics (LZU) signed up for the competition, and finally 39 undergraduate teams and 36 graduate teams completed the competition. The team results will be automatically scored by the competition platform system to determine the winning team list. Meanwhile, the representative teams of LZU will be selected to participate in the 2nd New Business Competition in Gansu Province. LUSM will carry out series of trainings for selected teams, and strive for awards in the provincial competition.
