Recently, China Scientometrics and Bibliometrics Research Center of CNKI released the pre-announcement list of "CNKI Highly Cited Scholars 2024". A total of 37 faculty members from the School were selected, among which 22 made the "CNKI Top 1% Highly Cited Scholars 2024" list and 15 were included in the "CNKI Top 5% Highly Cited Scholars 2024" list.

This evaluation is based on domestic academic journal articles and conference papers published within the past decade (2014-2023) that have been indexed by CNKI, using PCSI as the evaluation metric. Among the approximately 3.35 million authors eligible for selection nationwide, only 30,000 scholars were selected into the TOP 1% (with a baseline value of 31.016), and 89,000 scholars were selected into the TOP 5% (with a baseline value of 10.297). To be eligible for evaluation, candidates must simultaneously meet the criteria of having a total PCSI for their publications over the past decade that is higher than the baseline value, having no fewer than 5 eligible papers, and having at least 1 high-impact paper.
