Prof. Zhang Zhe from Western Washington University Gives Lectures to the students of LUSM
At the invitation of LUSM, Professor Zhang Zhe, from Western Washington University came to attend the 10th anniversary celebration activities of LUSM. He gave two high-level academic lectures to the teachers and students of our school on June 18 and 20.
On June 18, Prof. Zhang gave a lecture under the title of “Analysis of Hybrid Warranty Policies For Usage-based Consumer Products: Developing New Research Problems” which provides important guidance for the teachers and students of our school on the future research orientation. On June 20, Prof. Zhang gave a lecture under the title of “Using Quantitative Excel Models to Understand the Solutions to Supply Chain Management Issues: From Business Students’ Perspectives”. After the lecture, Prof. Zhang continued academic communication with the teachers and students for more than one hour.
LUSM emphasizes undergraduate education constantly. By inviting famous professionals and scholars from abroad and China to give lectures, we hope to widen the knowledge scope of our students, to promote their abilities of scientific research, and to broad their international view.
