Concerns and Support from Business Accreditation Organizations on COVID-19 Prevention and Control

Business accreditation organizations sent messages to LUSM, conveying the concerns and support to their member institutes and people over the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak.

Andrew Main Wilson, Chief Executive and Bodo Schlegelmilch Chairman, International Management Board of The Association of MBAs (AMBA) & Business Graduates Association (BGA) expresses their cordial greetings and sincere strong support for LUSM and all its faculty and students at this challenging time of combating the novel coronavirus epidemic. They hope China’s swift and decisive solution to first controlling and then eradicating the virus will be successful soon. 

The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) sends its thoughts and concerns to their members worldwide who are experiencing impacts of COVID-19. AACSB believes all its members will equipped to get through this crisis and commit themselves to closely monitoring COVID-19 and providing a safe environment for event participants, staff, and volunteers traveling on behalf of the organization.

The secretariat team of Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) encourages all its signatories and the wider PRME community to heed the advice of local authorities and take the necessary precautions in order to limit the contagion and protect both our healthcare systems and most vulnerable populations from being encumbered.

The prevention and control of COVID-19 can never be trivial, while the support and concerns recognizes no borders. Business accreditation organizations fully recognizes China’s strong measures and applauded the sharing of experience. As a member of those international communities mentioned above, LUSM will continue to track news and statements issued by them, and to maintain a sense of responsibility to exert an influence on information sharing and global collaboration. LUSM, together with all the students, faculty and stakeholders of other members of business accreditation organizations, is resolutely to win the battle against the epidemic prevention and control.
