Dean He Wensheng Attended Series Meetings for MBA Education
From March 27 to 28, the Fifth Plenary Meeting of theSixth China National MBA Education Supervisory Committee (hereafter as the Committee) and the 2023 National Joint Meeting of Deans of Management Schools Offering MBA Programs were held in Hangzhou. The Conference was hosted by China National MBA Education Supervisory Committee and co-organized by Zhejiang Gongshang University. Dean He Wensheng, member of the Committee, attended the meetings and delivered a themed speech at the joint meeting.
Dean He Wensheng attended the Fifth Plenary Meeting of the Committee on March 27th. The participants listened to the 2023 work report of the Committee made by Secretary-General Yang Bin, reviewed the “Basic Requirements for Applying for MBA Professional Degree Authorization”, and discuss around the theme of “How the Committee can further play a role and guide MBA towards new development”.
On March 28th, Dean He Wensheng attended the 2023 National Joint Meeting of Deans of Management Schools Offering MBA Programs. Some members of the Committee and 600 more deans and MBA program directors from more than 240 management schools nationwide attended the meeting. Dean He Wensheng delivered a speech at the “Governance and Innovation in the New Era of Business School” session. He shared his experiences from four aspects including the opportunities, challenges, connotation and path of digital governance based on the topic of “Governance and Innovation of Business Schools in the New Era”. He pointed out that the future business education should not only change concepts, build platforms, reorganize models and digital governance, but also create a new model of shared governance and innovative cooperation in business education in the era of digital economy.
The joint meeting of deans focused on the important themes of business school governance in the new era and high-quality development of MBA education. Deans and directors gathered together to discuss the new challenges, situations and problems faced by China’s MBA education. Participants formulated a blueprint for new opportunities and platforms for MBA education development, as well as new paths and models for the innovative development of MBA education with Chinese characteristics. Committed to China's MBA education can deeply serve the national strategic needs, effectively respond to the challenges of globalization and the development of business education in the new era, comprehensively improve the high-quality development level of China’s MBA education, and promote the education of high-level business administration talents.
