On May 18, Wang Wei, Associate Dean of School of Economics and Management Harbin University of Science and Technology, Lu Xichen, Associate Head of Department of Information Management and Information System, and Hu Yanling, faculty member of Department of Marketing came to LUSM for discussion and exchange. Chang Tao, Deputy Secretary of LUSM CPC Committee & Associate Dean of LUSM, Zhao Yanhai, Associate Dean, Prof. Liu Wumei and associate Prof. Wang Hongpeng, faculty representatives, Luo Yanjiao, Deputy Director of Office of Graduate Education, and stuff of Office of General Administration attended the meeting. It was presided over by Chang Tao. 

Chang Tao on behalf of LUSM welcomed Wang Wei and other delegates. Zhao Yanhai gave an introduction to the construction and development of LUSM around the “Four strategies”, discipline construction, faculty structure, talent education, scientific research, international exchanges & cooperation, and social services.

Wang Wei expressed his gratitude to LUSM for providing the reception. He said that the School of Economics and Management Harbin University of Science and Technology will learn from LUSM’s beneficial experiences and practices in teaching grassroots organizational settings, discipline structure, faculty building, talent introduction, and social services, in order to further promote the construction and development of the school.

Participants had a in-depth discussion and exchange on the construction of featured disciplines, international accreditation, team building, talent training and student work, etc.

Prior to the symposium, the School of Economics and Management Harbin University of Science and Technology held an information session on the introduction of doctoral candidates.
