LUSM Went to Xi’an to Visit Enterprises and Expand Posts
On May 15 to 17, Liu Yajun, Secretary of LUSM CPC Committee, Li Yanxia, Deputy Secretary of LUSM CPC Committee, Huo Da, Secretary of Youth League Committee, Chen Jinwen, Graduate Affairs Assistant, Zhou Yuhan, Administrative Secretary went to Xi’an to visit enterprises, expand posts and carry out research & exchange. They aim to solve the employment problems of LUSM, promote student employment and summer internships, and deeply study and implement of Xi Jingping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. Besides, they visited 5 enterprises and several alumni.
In Xi’an Oilfield Service Network Information Technology Co., LTD, LUSM’s delegates had a discussion and exchange with Xu Kai, General Manager of the company, also a Class of 2002 graduate majoring in Information Management and Information System. He gave a detailed introduction to the company’s development history, business operations, operational modes and talent recruitment, also put forward suggestions on talent education based on his own entrepreneurial experience. Liu Yajun introduced LUSM’s career development and the needs of students for employment and internship. Xu Kai stated that as a student employment internship base at LZU, we greatly welcome LZUers to come to the company for internships and employment. He will also mobilize the company’s existing resources of over 10,000 clients to provide posts for LZUers, and expressed his gratitude to LUSM for education.
At Xi’an Research Institute of Huawei Technologies Co., LTD, accompanied by Zhang Haiyun, Director of Recruitment and Deployment, and Sun Shuchen, Recruitment Manager, LUSM’s delegates visited the open lab and industry base. In the discussion and exchange session, Liu Zongping, Director of the Human Resources Department, delivered a speech on behalf of the base and welcomed the visit of LUSM. Sun Shuchen, Recruitment Manager, introduced the development history, business development, superior products, and technological innovation of Huawei Group and Xi’an Research Institute. An Yingying, Human Resources Manager of Huawei Group’s Financial Quality and Operation Dept, came from Shenzhen headquarters to participate in the exchange and introduced the financial business and talent needs of Huawei Group in detail. Wang Wei, security technology expert of Huawei Device BG Software Testing Department and a Class of 2005 graduate of the School of Mathematics and Statistics, Pang Wei, a staff member of Huawei wireless network product line and a Class of 2021 graduate of the School of Information Science and Engineering, and Yu Yue, a member of Huawei Software Task Force and a Class of 2022 graduate of the School of Information Science and Engineering, participated in the exchange as alumni representatives, and shared their feelings and personal development after joining the company. Liu Yajun delivered a speech on behalf of LUSM and introduced the school. The two parties discussed and exchanged ideas on summer internship and 2023 fall recruitment, and reached cooperation intentions.
At the Xi’an Branch of China Minsheng Bank, led by Qi Guohua, Secretary of the Party Committee, Bank President and a Class of 1996 accounting graduate of LUSM, the delegates visited its sales department, private enterprise service center, and staff home. During the discussion, Qi Yunhua introduced the development history, business philosophy, business scope and performance results of China Minsheng Bank and Xi’an Branch. Chen Yanqing, Deputy General Manager of Human Resources Department, introduced the talent training system of the branch, as well as graduate recruitment and internship. Liu Yajun introduced the basic situation of the school. The two parties carried out in-depth exchanges and discussions on summer internship, graduate recruitment, Party building and the work of the Communist Youth League.
In the Party and Mass Service Center of Taiyi Road, Beilin District, Xi’an City, Liu Yichen, Director of Taiyi Street Office, also a LUSM MPA student, presided over a research and exchange meeting. Liu Xiaodong, the leader of the Party and Mass Service Center, the representative of Community Director, a Class of 2005 LUSM’s alumni, Deputy Secretary-General of Shaanxi Alumni Association of Lanzhou University, Chairman of Equipment Services Network, attended the meeting. The two parties introduced the basic situation, and carried out exchanges and discussions on the construction of Party caucus, staff recruiment, student internship, community activities and project research, etc.
LUSM also visited School of Public Administration Northwest University (School of Emergency Management). Dou Zhengguang, Secretary of CPC Committee of School of Public Administration Northwest University (School of Emergency Management), Dean Lei Xiaokang, Hanjie, Deputy Secretary of CPC Committee, Li Yaoyuan, Jin Hongtao, Yue Chenghao, Associate Dean, Yang Jiayi, Student Advisor & Organizer attended the meeting. Liu Yajun and Lei Xiaokang introduced the basic situation of their school respectively. Han Jie and Jin Hongtao shared the content of research outline. The two parties discussed on the topics of “Daily management mode of student”, “Student innovation & entrepreneurship education and platform construction”, “Student Party branch construction and Party building brand cultivation” and “Reform of appraisal and performance-based pay system ”. LUSM’s delegates also visited the history museum of Northwest University.
Since the commencement of this spring semester, the Party leadership members of LUSM have actively implemented the special action of “Visiting enterprises and expanding posts”, adhered to the principles of “Going out” and “Inviting in”, and led teams to visit enterprises in Lanzhou, Shanghai, and Xi’an to deeply implement the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee, the State Council, and the Party Committee of LZU on the employment of graduates. LUSM has communicated with more than 20 alumni enterprises and employers, and has openly solicited employment positions and internships. These measures contribute to deepening cooperation between institutions and enterprises, achieving the goals of resource sharing and win-win cooperation.
