LUSM Held a MBA Practice Course on Digital Human Resource Management in Han’s Laser Technology Industry Group Co., Ltd

On June 3, under the leadership of LUSM’s professor Tu Xingyong, the MBA 7th Class of 2022 students paid a visit and practical learning at Han’s Laser Technology Industry Group Co., Ltd., which is a pioneer in industrial laser equipment manufacturing in China.

At the beginning, Liao Wen, the Technical Director of Han’s Laser, also a student from the class, welcomed the visiting teachers and students, and introduced the Group’s development history. His remarks revealed that Han’s Laser was established in Shenzhen, China in 1996, and became listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2004. The Group is equipped with the capability to provide a complete range of laser processing solutions and related supporting facilities for global customers, which have been widely used in various industries such as IT manufacturing, electronic circuits, instruments, printed circuits, computer manufacturing, new energy, solar photovoltaic and other industries by a long-term development. Currently, Han’s Laser ranked as the first laser equipment manufacturing enterprise in Asia and the second in the world, and is a typical representative of high-tech enterprises of the “Made in China 2025” plan.

Under the guidance of Liao Wen, the teachers and students visited the intelligent exhibition hall of the Group’s smart manufacturing hub, which is a crucial place for Han’s Laser to receive politicians, institutions and enterprises, also a beautiful business card for the Group to show its image of “playing a predominant role in the development of the country”. Liao Wen and relevant staff provided a laser intelligent manufacturing feast for teachers and students from simple to complex, including visiting laser cutting, laser marking to industrial robot production, intelligent production lines and other equipment visits. It not only impresses upon teachers and students the Group’s strong technical strength, but also instills in them a feeling for its unwavering commitment to research and development of cutting-edge technology in the age of intelligent manufacturing. Combined with technological innovation, the Group is deeply engaged in the fields of automotive intelligent manufacturing, new energy, photovoltaic, smart wearable, lithium battery, etc., and practices high-quality development model.

Undoubtedly, learning in the exhibition hall can strength the charm of the Group. On the symposium, students actively asked Liu Huiping, director of public relations on human resources, and carried out in-depth exchanges on all aspects of human resources management such as recruitment, training, remuneration, performance and employee relations.

For instance, Liu Huiping said that the Group has attached great importance to the talent training, and has invested a lot of funds in employee training every year to continuously promote the growth of employees to better adapt to the needs of the post. Besides, in terms of digitalization of human resources, the Group has realized the digitalization of the entire process of employees from pre-employment to post-departure, as well as the digital management of employee promotion channels and compensation systems by adopted management system of human resources. The Group plans to further apply digitalization to all aspects of human resources, and promote employee training more accurate and efficiency.

Prof. Tu Xingyong concluded the meeting by emphasizing that digital human resource management provides the Group with greater flexibility and synergistic value, closely linking elements such as people, technology, and data to optimize talent teams, enhance core competitiveness of enterprises, and promote organizational integration and development.

The successful holding of visiting the Han’s Laser was attributed to the solidify cooperation among Prof. Tu Xingyong, MBA students and the Group, which presented a vivid and interesting MBA practical course. Teachers and students directly dialogue with benchmarking enterprises, keeping close contact with excellent governance ideas and digital human resource management practice results, thereby laying a good foundation for their career development. The students expressed their determination to diligently apply digitalization and human resource management, while actively practicing related theories and experiences so as to create a promising future.
