From September 25th to 29th, the China-Colombia Business School Workshop and the AMBA&BGA Latin America Conference were held in Colombia and Mexcio respectively. Prof. WU Jianzu, the associate dean of LUSM attended at the invitation of the events’ committe.

From September 25th to 26th, jointly organized by the Universidad de los Andes School of Management and the Silk-Road Entrepreneurship Education Network (SREEN), the 2023 China-Colombia Business School Workshop was held in Colombia. Mr. ZHU Jingyang, ambassador of Embassy of the Prople’s Republic of China in the Republic of Colombia, Silvia Restrepo, vice rector, Catalina González, Director of Internationalization, and Veneta Andonova, Dean of the School of Management of the Universidad de los Andes, WANG Zhongming, member of AMBA&BGA International Advisory Committee and director of the Global Entrepreneurship Research Center, were specially invited to attend the event. Together with the special guests, delegates have carried out deepen discussions on topics such as How to Formulate Responsible Management and Sustainable Entrepreneurship Strategy under the Digital Transformation and Sustainable Development, the Importance of Leadership Development to Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Change Management, How to Promote Program Cooperation, Green Business, Entrepreneurship Cases and Curriculum Capacity Building, and How the BRI cooperates with internationally accreditated business schools to carry out entrepreneurship education, business talent training and innovation research, etc, aiming to build a global business alliance of high-quality internationalization strategy.

During the event, prof. WU gave an exchange speech on the exploration and practice of digital transformation, sustainable management, and collaborative development of LUSM.

From September 27th to 29th, AMBA&BGA Latin America Conference 2023 was held in Mexico. Consisting of 16 plenary sessions, the Conference attracted and gathered about 100 business school leaders from across Latin America and beyond to address pressing issues in business education.  During the three-day Conference, representatives discussed the latest changes in MBA education, the AI digital transformation of business education, the forefront of responsible management education and sustainable development, BGA's exploration of the unique values of business schools, the characteristics of business education in Latin America, exchanges and cooperation between China and Latin American, and the cutting-edge developments in AMBA and BGA accreditation.

During the Conference, prof. WU conducted in-depth communication and experience sharing with directors and panel members of AMBA&BGA, and peers and scholars other business schools on the key points and new trends of MBA programs and global business school development, as well as the latest standards for AMBA and BGA accreditation.

The visit has a positive effect on promoting further impact, deepening international development, and expanding communication and cooperation of LUSM.
