Delegates of LUSM Attended the 10th RMER Conference
From September 26th to 28th, the 10th Responsible Management Education Research Conference (hereafter the “RMER Conference”) was hosted in Lison, Portugal by Iscte Business School. Prof. Zhang Guoxing and Shen Xiaoqiang attended the Conference at the invitation of the Conference committee.
Themed on “Sustainable and Responsible Management: A decade of Integrating Knowledge and Creating Societal Impact through Innovation and Entrepreneurship”, the Conference is consists of plenary sessions and keynote speeches, which bringing together experts, scholars, educators, peers, and stakeholders in responsible management education communities worldwide. During the Conference, delegates of LUSM listened keynote speeches entitled A decade of RMER conference, The Role of AI in Management Education, The Role of Climate Literacy in Management Education, and Business schools and Societal Trends, and participated in plenary sessions and discussions by sharing with peers from business and management schools in different countries and regions their teaching and research experiences, as well as their confusions, challenges, and solving methods.
During the Conference, the two delegates have met with prof. Milenko Gudić, keynote speaker of the Conference Plenary Session of "A Decade of Integrating Knowledge and Creating Societal Impact through Innovation and Entrepreneurship", PRME Anti-poverty Working Group Co-chair, and the former Co-chair of RMER; and conducted deep exchanges with peers and scholars, by introducing LZU and LUSM and exploring possible cooperation directions.
The attendance of the Conference has been a way of learning the frontier education trends, scientific research concepts, and cooperation and exchange methods of advanced business schools for LUSM. LUSM will continuously align with advanced universities and schools, and to contribute to responsible management education with the practice of its mission “to develop leaders with global perspective, local commitment, and social responsibility for western China and beyond.”
