Delegates of LUSM Attended AMBA and BGA Asia Pacific Conference 2023
From November 15 to 17, 2023, AMBA&BGA Asia Pacific Conference 2023 (hereafter “the Conference”) was held in Bangkok, Thailand. The Conference was organized by AMBA&BGA, and hosted by Chulalongkorn Business School and Thammasat Business School. On behalf of LUSM, Chang Tao, deputy secretary of LUSM CPC Committee, Associate Dean, Zhang Ruoyong, director of professional master’s degree education center, and Wang Yu, deputy director of the department of organizational management, attended the conference at the invitation of AMBA&BGA.
Consisting of 16 breakout sessions, the Conference has gathered about 200 delegates from over 70 business schools and management schools sharing their insight and practical experiences of the frontier academic topics such as lifelong learning and program development, sustainable entrepreneurship and leadership development, global leadership, AI’s opportunities and pitfalls, meaning of internationalization, and cultivating inclusive leadership and promoting DEI in business education.
During the Conference, the delegates of LUSM conducted in-depth exchanges with Prof. Wang Zhongming, China Advisor of AMBA&BGA, and the Director of Global Entrepreneurship Research Center, and Mr. George Iliev, the Accreditation & China Director of AMBA&BGA, on the latest activity update and the newest trend of AMBA&BGA. At the sessions of “Sustainable entrepreneurship and leadership development - the Silk Road network” and “Capacity-building for Developing effective business school leadership”, the delegates also shared with peers both in China and abroad, the insights of accreditation and the practical experience of the construction of SREEN.
The attendance of the Conference has deepened the mutual trust between LUSM and AMBA&BGA, which plays an important role in opening up the global perspective and enhancing the internationalization level of the School’s education. LUSM will continuously align with advanced universities and schools, actively embed advanced education concepts such as responsible management education, sustainable development, green transformation into its teaching, learning, research and management practices, and committed to develop future leaders with global leadership.
