LUSM Students Honored Group First Prize in the Third Xunshi Cup Public Administration Decision-Making Simulation Final Competition
On October 19 and 20, the Third Xunshi Cup Public Administration Decision-Making Simulation Final Competition (the Competition), hosted by the Chinese Association of Science of Science and S&T Policy Research (the Association”, co-organized by the Public Management Professional Committee of the Association, and organized by the School of Government, Neijing Normal University, was hled at Beijing Normal University (Zhuhai Campus), with representatives from 90 colleges and universities across China participated, and 15 well-known experts and scholars in public management served as judges for the Competition. LUSM’s team, consisting of faculty members MAO Xuewen and DAI Wei, and three undergraduate students, won the first prize in the group competition.
In the early stage of the finals, teams from nearly 300 colleges and universities participated in six regional divisions, and ultimately 90 institutions were promoted to the national finals. Team of LZU was granded with first prize.
The competition models of the finals were consists of sheme design, decision-making exercise sand table confrontation, and on-site team defense. It aims to enhance students’ practice ability through systematic thinking of methematical models and comprehensive application of professional knowledge, while adhering to problem orientation, promoting learning and teaching through competitions, and helping to cultivate innovative talents in related disciplines.
