At the invitation of Professor Stephen Condrey, president of ASPA, Professor Mark Holzer, Dean of the School of Public Administration and Affairs, Rutgers University, and Professor Ronald Tammen, Dean of Mark O. Hatfield School of Government, Portland State University, Dean Bao Guoxian of LUSM and doctoral student Wang Xuejun attended the 2014 ASPA Annual Meeting and visited the universities mentioned above. They also visited the School of Management, La Sierra University and the School of Politics and Economics, Claremont Graduate University. During the visit, both sides discussed cooperation in the following aspects: exchange of faculty and students, scientific research, high-level degree programs and creative cultural industries and reached agreement.

The visit consolidated the cooperation achievement between our school and universities in the United States and expanded the cooperation net and cooperation programmes. These will greatly promote the operation of the international strategies of our school, and have a positive and profound influence on the scientific research level and international impact of our school.
