Two Subjects of LUSM Listed in Leading Subjects of Gansu Province
Recently, Department of Education of Gansu Province has issued " Notice on Starting the Construction of High-level Universities and First-class Subjects". 27 subjects of 7 universities were identified as leading subjects. 16 subjects of Lanzhou University were on the list. Public administration and business administration of LUSM has been selected.

News Background:
On July 28, 2016, the General Office of People's Government of Gansu Province issued the " Plan for Promoting the Construction of High-level Universities and First-class Subjects" (hereinafter referred to as the "plan"), and set the goal of building 50 some first-class subjects with high academic level, distinct characteristic and advantage and strong service awareness and competence; promoting 6 universities into high-level universities rank home and abroad; giving priority support to related infrastructure construction of high-level universities and first-class subjects during the 13th Five Year Plan. The " plan" pointed out clearly to support and build Lanzhou University to a world-class university.
