Students from LUSM Achieved Outstanding Results in the 2nd Human Resource Professional KSAs Contest of Chinese University Students
On November 26, the 2nd Human Resource Professional KSAs Contest of Chinese University Students was held in Beijing. The contest was hosted by China Institute of Industrial Relations. Renmin University of China, Beijing Normal University, Lanzhou University and other 18 universities has participated. Gang Zheng, instructor of LUSM and 7 undergraduates has participated in the contest on behalf of LUSM.
The contest was made up of sessions such as workforce practice, leaderless group discussion. Yuan Zhuang from LUSM has won the first prize in workforce practice session and has been the only one who gained full marks in English Q & A session; Xuena Wang has won second prize in leaderless group discussion; Zhi Li, the third prize in HR physical design session and Ning Li, the excellence award in case study session. LUSM delegation has had a good performance in the contest and has won third prize.
It is reported that it's the first time LUSM has participated in the contest. Since its formation, LUSM team has actively prepared for the contest, learning theories, models, processes, skills of human resource management field and well-known company's human resources development, and thus implementing human resources work ethic and professional skills. The contest has not only enabled students to combine theory with practice to further enhance their professional skills of human resources, but also promoted the exchange with teachers and students from other universities, which has a positive significance.
