On January 23, Dean Denis Guibard and Professor Bumika Gupta from Institut Mines-Télécom Business School, IMT-BS (formerly Telecom Ecole de Management ) visited LUSM. Dean Wensheng He welcomed the guests and expressed sincere appreciation for IMT-BS’ support for the internalization of LUSM. Xuejun Wang, associate dean, Yanhai Zhao, director of international accreditation office and staff from international cooperation and accreditation office talked with its French partner.

Xuejun Wang looked back at the cooperation between two sides and gave positive comments on the results achieved and hopes to promote and expand collaboration with France. Later, the two sides discussed issues on how to build a better cooperation in the fields of students exchange, double degree, EMBA study tour, summer school, joint research, etc. and shared information, experience and plan of international accreditation.

Institut Mines-Télécom Business School is a public business school in the French Grand Ecole tradition. Founded in 1979, the school operates under the auspices of the Ministry for Economy, Industry and Finance. It is AACSB and AMBA accredited. LUSM and IBT-BS signed an agreement for cooperation in July 2009, which was renewed in 2011 and 2013. In May 2013 the two sides signed agreement to cooperate in the fields of double degree master program. By December 2018, 140 LUSM students have studied at IBT-BS and 27 faculty have visited it.
