On Oct.8, the opening ceremony of the newly launched programs in Business Administration / Public Administration set sail in Yuzhong Campus. Several faculty members were present at the ceremony and shared this significant moment with the first batch of students enrolled into the program, including Associate Dean Wang Xuejun, Deputy Secretary of LUSM Party Committee Li Yanxia, Prof. Shan Feifei, Prof. Jin Guanghui, Qu Zongxi and Ma Jianfeng as the headteachers, Student Counselor Lu Jing, and Teaching Secretary Gou Ying.

At the ceremony, Associate Dean Wang Xuejun extended the welcome to the first batch of students, and gave a brief introduction to the background and curriculum of the double degree programs. He hoped that all students joining in the programs could multiply their career opportunities by engaging on the management studies of interest in-depth.

Then Prof. Shan Feifei as the representative of faculty members, and Zhang Zhilong as the student representative, shared their thoughts with all participants.

In order to keep the programs on the track, 2 excellent teachers are assigned as the headteachers accordingly, namely Associate Prof. Ma Jianfeng as the headteacher for Double Degree Program in Business Administration, and Dr. Qu Zongxi as that of the Program in Public Administration, who accepted the Letter of Appointment and delivered speeches at the ceremony.

As to the newly launched programs, 55 students from 20 schools have been enrolled in the Business Administration Program, while 28 from 10 school enrolled in Public Administration Program. LUSM has assigned one teaching secretary and student counselor to coordinate the daily work for the programs.
