FHNW Delegation Visited LUSM
On the morning of July 7, a delegation of School of Business, University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) visited LUSM, including Stephan Andreas Jüngling, Deputy Head of China Center and Jiang Yufan, Head of Executive Programs. Zhao Yanhai, LUSM Associate Dean, Zhang Ruoyong, Deputy Director of Professional Degree Education Center, and staff of relevant offices attended the meeting. Zhu Jinpeng, Level VI Division Rank Official from Foreign Affairs Office of People’s Government of Gansu Province accompanied them during the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Zhao Yanhai.
Zhao Yanhai, on behalf of LUSM, welcomed the visit of FHNW delegation, reviewed the cooperation history between the two sides, briefly introduced the recent development of the school in talent cultivation, scientific research, international exchanges and social services, etc., and hoped that the existing cooperation between the two schools could be used as a basis for opening up more channels of cooperation. Stephan Andreas Jüngling introduced the basic situation of FHNW and its Business School, and hoped to strengthen the cooperation between the two sides in professional degree programs and explore the possibility of cooperation in doctoral programs. Jiang Yufan shared the business school’s experience of multi-party co-operation in professional degree programs and looked forward to the continuous cooperation between the two sides in professional degree overseas learning programs, semester exchange programs and other aspects.
The participants actively discussed the topics of student exchanges, mutual visits of faculty and short-term programs, and reached a preliminary intention.
The delegation of FHNW Business was invited to attend the 29th China Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair, as well as related activities such as international friendship cities industry promotion and economic and trade cooperation matchmaking meeting.
