From May 10 to 12, the 2nd Asia-Pacific Marketing Academy Annual Conference (APMA) was held at the City University of Hong Kong. With the guidance of Prof. Liu Wumei, the paper “More Creative, More Pro-Environmental? How Does Engaging in Creative Activities Affect Consumers' Pro-Environmental Behavior”, presented by Ms. Yang Qiaoying, LUSM PhD student of grade 2020, was nominated the “Outstanding Paper Award” at the Conference.

APMA was founded by the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao University Marketing Alliance in 2023. The alliance aims to promote international academic exchange and cooperation in the field of marketing, serving as a crucial global bridge connecting China with the world.

The award is a further affirmation of the effectiveness of the LUSM's doctoral training. In recent years, with the implementation of the four grand strategies of “School culture building, School enhancement by talent, internationalization, and digitalization”, LUSM has identified the development orientation, condensed the disciplinary advantages, optimized the curriculum system of public administration and business administration, and improved the cultivation quality, which formes a unique doctoral cultivation system with remarkable cultivation effect.
