Dean Guoxian Bao Meets with Delegation from Portland State University, U. S. A.
Dean Prof. Guoxian Bao met with Ronald L. Tammen, Dean of Mark O. Hatfield School of Government and Director Phil Keisling, Center for Public Service on September 9th at the conference room 1212, Qiyun Building.
Dean Bao expressed greetings to Tammen and Keisling. During the meeting, Dean Bao briefly introduced the progress of Management School during the past academic year, and then reviewed the achievements obtained with joint efforts of both sides. Dean Bao also gave several constructive comments on deepening the future cooperation between School of Management and Mark O. Hatfield School of Government. Tammen and Keisling agreed with the suggestions Dean Bao issued.
The two sides held a fruitful discussion on The Second International Conference on Goverment Pefromance and Leadership which will be co-held by the two schools in Portland in 2011. Keisling, in charge of preparing the forthcoming conference, reported on the detailed arrangement of the conference. Dean Bao spoke highly of Keisling’s efforts and expressed his belief on the future success of The Second International Conference on Government Performance and Leadership.
Assistant Dean Wensheng He, Chief of Administration Office Xuliang Miao and stuff of International Cooperation Office also attended this meeting.
