Professor Pischas Visiting School of Management
On October 10, Professor Rainar Pischas from Postgraduate School(University) of Administrative Sciences Speyer paid his visit to School of Management with his wife Dr. Daniela Pitschas, aiming to exchange with students face to face on Public Administration. Professor Pischas’ visit to School of management turned out to be a great success. Not only has the visit provided fresh approaches to public administration, but also it unveils the foreseeable partnership between the two schools.
In the moring, Professor Pischas gave his lecture to undergraduates in Yuzhong Campus on “Changing Bureaucracy in a Globalized World: Open Government and Professional Values in the Public Service”, initiating the “Academic Month”of School of Management in Ocober designed to offer undergraduates a platform to approach the prominent scholars and practitioners and their enlightening thoughts. A vast range of questions raised by the students were answered by Dr. Pischas in a inspiring way.
Following his address to undergraduates, Professor Pischas and his wife were invited to hold a academic discussion with young teachers and doctoral candidates from Shool of Management. All the participants achieved a more in-depth understanding of public administration from the point view of public laws.
Then Professor Pischas’visiting proceeded with meeting with Pofessor Shaohui Li and Dr Whensheng He, assisstant dean of the School, focused on potential biliteral cooperations. Both of the two schools showed keen interest in co-developing programmes on visiting teachers, exchanges students and joint academic research.
