LUSM Has Gained Good Results in CDGDC’S Fourth Discipline Evaluation
On Dec 28th, China Academic Degree and Graduate Education Development Center (CDGDC) published results of its fourth evaluations on disciplines of universities and colleges in Mainland China. Public Administration of LUSM gained B+ (top 10%-20%); Business Administration gained B (top 20%-30%).
Since its establishment in 2004, LUSM has focused on the central task of discipline construction and has achieved great improvement through the implementation of its three strategies: developing the school with capable people, internationalization, accelerating the progress by school culture. In 2005, LUSM was authorized to award first level master degree in Public Administration and Business Administration. In 2006, LUSM was authorized to award doctoral degree in Administration Management. In the same year, Public Administration was awarded the key subject of Gansu Province. In 2011, LUSM was authorized to award first level doctoral degree in Public Administration. In 2013 Business Administration was listed as the key subject of Gansu Province. In 2016, both Public Administration and Business Administration were selected as outstanding subjects of Gansu Province. The results of CDGDC’s fourth evaluation means a new start for LUSM’s discipline construction. LUSM will take this as an opportunity, strive for reform and innovation, work persistently towards a higher level and contribute to Double First-rate Construction.
