On 9^th April, Ruedi Nutzi, the Dean of School of Business, University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland and his colleague visited our school and met with Guoxian Bao, Honorary Dean, Xin He, Associate Dean, Yanhai Zhao, Director of International Accreditation Office and staff from international cooperation office.

Dean Bao welcomed Dean Nutzi and thanked him for his long term support for the school’s development. Associate Dean He briefly introduced the latest development of our school and hoped that the two sides could have deeper communication on the issues of mutual interest. Dean Nutzi reviewed the outcome they have achieved in providing trainings for Chinese government officials and entrepreneurs and hoped that while consolidating existing cooperation, the two can promote and expand cooperation according to students and market’s needs. Later on, the two sides discussed issues like joint EDP training program, FHNW giving seminars for LUSM’s EMBA and MBA students, faculty and students exchange, and have made a preliminary plan.

The School of Management, Lanzhou University established partnership with the School of Business, University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland in 2010, and have collaborated in the areas of faculty and student exchange, joint research, etc. It is said that Dean Nutzi also came to Gansu as a member of delegation from Soloturn Switzerland. Soloturn is a sister province of Gansu, and the relationship was built in 2010.
