Brief Introduction to the Lecture: The speaker will share his experience as an author, co-author, reviewer, and senior editor/associate editor on how to publish a paper in premier journals while enjoying doing the research at the same time.

Brief Introduction to Prof. CAI Gangshu (George): Dr. CAI Gangshu (George), a lifetime tenured professor of Santa Clara University, receiver of The National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, peer-reviewed expert of the national natural science fund committee. His main research fields are e-commerce, multi-channel supply chain management and supply chain finance. He has published more than 30 papers on many international top academic journals including Marketing ScienceProduction and Operations Management. Meanwhile, he has hosted more than 20 projects at national level of National Science Foundation, United States and National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has been awarded prizes of the Outstanding Paper of ICEB (International Conference on Electronic Business), the Outstanding Teaching and Research of Kansas State University, the Dean’s Outstanding Teaching, Research and Service Awards of Santa Clara University, the AE of the Year of the Decision Sciences and the Wickham Skinner Award for Teaching Innovation of POMS (Production & Operations Management Society). Prof. CAI Gangshu (George) is currently a senior editor of Production and Operations Management, the international top journals and the deputy editor of chief of Decision Sciences, the authoritative journal.
