On the morning of December 15, LUSM held talks with Beijing A Boat Education & Technology Co., Ltd (A Boat Education) and announced the establishment of "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Center for College Students" and A Boat Education becoming an internship site for LUSM students. Shu Chen, CEO of A Boat Education and alumni of class of 2011, LUSM, Lin Zhao, supervisor and Wenyuan Tan, new project leader of A Boat Education; Lei Li, founder and CEO of Cloud Classroom; Guoxian Bao, Honorary Dean of LUSM, Chengfu Yao, party secretary, Yanxia Li, vice party secretary of LUSM and Yinan Li, associate professor at LUSM attended the meeting.

After a brief introduction given by Shun Chen and Chengfu Yao of A Boat Education and LUSM respectively, the two sides had discussions on issues such as innovation and entrepreneurship training, career guidance, internship organization, cooperation between university and enterprise and role of alumni.  

Professor Guoxian Bao thanked Shu Chen and his team for their visit, congratulated the alumni for their remarkable achievements in entrepreneurship and expressed great expectation for cooperation. He hoped that the establishment of "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Center for College Students" and student internship site could really play a role in promoting the development of the company and the training of students. He asked both sides to put work ideas into practice, so that more LUSM students could get exercise, acquire knowledge and accumulate experience, and constantly improve their leadership and social responsibility. Meanwhile, LUSM will provide talent and theory support for the future development of A Boat Education.

At the end of the meeting, Honorary Dean Guoxian Bao and Party Secretary Chengfu Yao, on behalf of LUSM issued plaque of  "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Center for College Students" and Student Internship Site to Shu Chen.

Beijing A Boat Education & Technology Co., Ltd (A Boat Education for short), was founded in 2016 by Shu Chen, a marketing graduate of class of 2011, LUSM. The company mainly provides Certified Fire Engineer program. It has over 500 employees and an annual turnover of more than 0.1 billion.

In November 2018, LUSM and A Boat Education reached a cooperative intention to build Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Center for College Students and have LUSM student intern at the company. With A Boat Education play the leading role and LUSM cooperating, the center will invite entrepreneurs to give trainings to LSUM students on employability and entrepreneurial abilities, and lectures on internet, invest & finance, and assist students to start business in good condition.

A Boat Education has donated RMB 500,000 Yuan to LUSM which will be given in 5 installments and will be mainly used for costs related to trainings and lectures given by enterpreneurs.
