LUSM Student Won National Undergraduate of the Year Nomination Award
An LUSM student has won the nomination award of the 14th National Undergraduate of the Year, hosted by people.com.cn, Guangming Daily, China Campus, and dxs.moe.gov.cn, under the guidance by Ministry of Education, and People's Daily. After a series of online and offline ballots, the 14th National Undergraduate of the Year has 10 final winners, 40 nomination winners, and 106 short-listed awards. Yang Jusheng, the 2015 year of undergraduate in LUSM, was awarded the nomination prize.
Yang Jusheng, majored in Accounting, is a 4th year undergraduate in LUSM now. Due to his excellent academic performance, he has been recommended and enrolled by Sun Yat-Sen University as a postgraduate student. During his undergraduate years, he has shown his shining points in various aspects: he has participated in several projects including 3 university level projects on entrepreneurship and innovation, 1 project funded by NSSF, 1 project funded by Hui-Chun Chin and Tsung-Dao Lee Chinese Undergraduate Research Endowment, 3 Challenge Cup project, and 1 Internet Plus project; he has published 2 papers cited by ISTP; he has attended 3 international conferences, 7 practice projects, and been exchanged to Harvard University; he has served 24 positions on school and university levels, such as the executive vice chairman of the university Student Union; he has also worked in his part time to be as a volunteer. All of his excellent performance bring him a lot honor and awards.
