On September 20, 2024, a delegation consists of Prof. CHEN Shimin, Associate Dean (Case Center), XU Leiping, dirctor of CEIBS Case Center, and FAN Dong, Manager on Strategic Cooperation from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) visited LUSM. HE Wensheng, Dean, WU Jianzu, Associate Dean, ZHANG Ruoyong, Deputy Director of Professional Degree Education Center, WEI Xuhua, Director of Institute for Digitalized HRM, and related staff members participated in the discussion, which was chaired by Dean HE Wensheng.

On behalf of LUSM, Dean HE warmly welcomed the visit of Prof. CHEN and his delegation, and introduced LUSM of its basic profile, operational idea, and development situation. HE pointed out that LUSM has always attached great importance to the development and teaching of management cases, and hoped that the two sides would reach in-depth cooperation, give full play to the brand advantages of LZU’s MBA program, focus on the development of western region’s featured cases in enterprise management, and promote the continuous improvement of the case teaching level of colleges and universities in western China.

Prof. CHEN introduced the output and use of CEIBS cases, their publication and international impact, the development of CEIBS case development and the construction of case base. He hoped that with the opportunity of cooperation, the two sides can jointly empower the reform and innovation of MBA education through case construction.

During the discussion, the participants discussed the cooperation mechanism between the two sides, hoping that with the collaboration with CEIBS Case Center would further enhance LUSM's capabilities in case teaching and case development, and improve its quality of education.
