From October 19th to 20th, the Competition of Northwest Division of 2024 the 9th Human Resourse University Union You (hereafter “the HRU9” or “the competition”) was held in Ningxia University. Under the guidance of Dr. Zheng Gang, director of the Department of Organizational Management of LUSM, the team composed by LI Yunyi, LIU Sutong, LI Yue, HUANG Xinyi, SUI Yu, ZHANG Junjie, and HAN Zhihua, undergraduate students of grade 2021 majoring in Human Resource Management successfully advanced to the national competition with the score of three grand prizes and three first prizes, and team grand prize in the division competitions.

Since its establishment in 2015, the HRU Competition has been selected into the 2023 National College Student Competition Analysis Report in March 2023. It has become a subject ranking competition organized by the Ministry of Education and is a nationally influential competition specifically targeting the field of human resources. To assess the mastery of professional knowledge, practical skills, teamwork ability, and innovative thinking of the participating students, the Competition has set up seven tracks in case analysis, leaderless group discussion, labor disputes settlement, practice design, digital HR practical operation, and Hr English. During the Competition, LUSM’s team fully demonstrated our profound skills and solid practical abilities in HRM , as well as the all-round reform and innovation of LUSM’s talent cultivation with clear statements, rigorous logic, and tacit cooperation. The team stood out among 345 universities and been promoted to the natioanl finals.

All along its development, LUSM has actively responded to the challenges of the digital era to high-quality management education. Based on its strategy of “Digitalization”, it has exert advantages of “internet plus education” and “intelligence plus education”, and has continued to hold New Business Competition of Higher Education Institutions in Gansu, and organized and supported over 30 new arts competitions. LUSM will promote teaching and learning and advance the integration of industry and education through professional academic competitions.
