The 2nd School of Management Simulation Job Fair Was Rounded off From Student Group
At 6:00p.m. of May 26th, the 6th Management Culture Festival——the final campus simulation job fair was held in teaching building A505 on Yuzhong Campus. The judges included Lǚ Zheng, the Chief of Wages Section Human Resources Department of Lanzhou Petrochemical Group, Hu Kai from the Human Resources Department, Lanzhou Petrochemical Lit. Com. and Chen Jian’en, the Deputy Party Secretary of School of Civil Engineering and Mechanics and global career planner. The “Tsuiying Online” website made a recording of the whole contest.
This contest were made up of 4 parts, namely, self-presentation, group discussion with no-leader, questions and answers on career and interactivities. 12 of the participants from all schools and departments were chosen into the final contest. The contestants displayed their own skills and expertise, which won rounds of applause. At the round of questions and answers on career, some questions related to reality were quite tough to the contestants. On the other hand, the wise answers by them were satisfactory as well. The last round of interactivity was the high point of the whole contest. The audience was so enthusiastic that they continued communicating with judges even the contest was over. In this contest, 5 contestants, Li Wenxia, Jiao Yanjiao, Zhang Yuchen, Guo Yi, Wang Xue were awarded the letter of appointment. Meanwhile, the Prize of Excellent CV was given to Zhang Yuchen, Cao Dingrong and GuoYi.

Through this contest, students’ awareness was raised on difficulty of job application and the importance of career planning. The success of every round marked the successful completion of this simulation job fair.
