Students majoring in Tourism Management Visited the 15th China Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair
In the afternoon of June 12, undergraduates of Grade 07 and graduate students of Grade 08 majoring in tourism management visited the 15th Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair.
The China Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair is an important platform for the western China to open to the outside world, which has been successfully held on 14 occasions. The fair has become a regional, international, professional and large-scale one. At 10 a.m. of June 12, the 15th China Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair opened at the Rapidmall City Shopping Mall. At 2:00p.m., led by the teacher Tuo Yanzhen, undergraduates of Grade 07 and graduate students of Grade 08 majoring in tourism management at School of Management entered the main venue to visit. In the exhibition hall, the glorious decoration, reasonable layout, elaborately displayed exhibits won great compliments from students. In the process of visiting, Ms. Tuo combining the professional knowledge on tourism expounded the fair organization and management, site layout and close connection between fair tourism to students who benefited a lot.
Additionally, culture presentation on the theme of “Charming Gansu, Creative Gansu, Classical Gansu, Folk Gansu and Harmonious Gansu” deeply attracted students. The unique charm of culture of tourism made them understand their own major more deeply.
After this visit, students majoring in tourism management more concretely got acquainted with the relativity between fair and tourism. Everyone agreed that the method of integrating learning and practice was quite helpful to the comprehension of professional knowledge.
