In the afternoon of Nov.30, the signing ceremony for the cooperation on placement site between LUSM and Gansu Financial Group (GSFG) was held at Lanzhou University. Representatives from both sides attended the ceremony, including the GFCM Party Secretary Yang Jianjun, Vice General Manager Tian li, Chairman Zhang Xinxin from GSFG’s Financial Service Company, and Chairman Qu Yang from GSFG’s Financial Leasing Company; LUSM Party Secretary Yao Chengfu, Deputy Party Secretary Li Yanxia, and Associate Dean Miao Xuliang. Yao Chengfu and Yang Jianjun signed the agreement on behalf of each party, then LUSM issued the placement plaque to GSFG.

During the meeting, Yang Jianjun introduced GSFG from its scale, fields of interests, financial status, corporate culture and staff mien, and Miao Xuliang gave a brief introduction to LUSM regarding its history, faculty, disciplines and programs. Then, Li Yan Xia presented in detail about the placement situation in LUSM. Both sides discussed the placement requirements and student training plan, and agreed to make joint efforts to upgrade the placement cooperation.

The placement site is considered to be the bridge connecting enterprises and the university, playing a significant role in promoting the multi-layer and intensive cooperation between two sides, enhancing both images, and achieving a win-win situation on a long view.
